So my family is very loud

As the time of my finales it seems like my family had to have a family reunion, and that brings screaming and more screaming, so I HAD to go to my friends house to actually accomplish anything and be productive, is this just how my family acts or is this the same with every family?

    Growing up, the only way to get heard was to talk over everyone else. That didn't really suit me well when it came time to go outside.
