Went to the gunshop

So, I went shooting with my friends, and I swear the people that go to the shooting range are VERY VERY sketchy, I realize we are allowed to own guns because of the the 2nd amendment but how can we give these people guns and expect them to be save with it? There was an article at the range that said some around 300,000 people die ea year from gun fires, and these are for "their safety." That being said I think if we try to ban guns, only the law abiding citizens will turn the guns in, and guess who wont, that's right the criminals, we as a society have failed to keep guns save from civilians

    I do agree, you say well he has no criminal background, we can sell him thegun, but what's stopping him from going and committing a crime then. The whole gun thing I find a little ridiculous, but there are some people who would die to protect the right to bear arms.

    Part of me wishes I could just stroll down to the gun shop, but then my rational part says it's probably a bad idea for everyone and their mother to own a gun. Glad I live in the UK where gun crime is VERY low.

    One can kill somebody with a knife just like a gun. GRANTED the knife doesnt shoot a projectile at mach speeds nor does the knife itself fly at mach speeds.
